Fall Classic Tournament: What to Expect This Weekend

Sixteen teams from across West Michigan descend on Riverside Park this weekend for the BATL Fall Classic, one of the most competitive youth baseball and softball tournaments in the region.

The tournament features four divisions: 10U Baseball, 12U Baseball, 14U Baseball, and 12U Softball. Pool play begins Saturday morning at 8:00 AM, with bracket play kicking off Sunday at 9:00 AM. Championship games are scheduled for Sunday afternoon.

This year's field includes several teams making their BATL tournament debut, including the Lowell Lightning (12U Baseball) and the Rockford Rockets Softball squad. Both teams have been impressive in their respective league seasons and are expected to be competitive.

Parking is available at the Riverside Park main lot and the overflow lot on Fulton Street. Gates open at 7:30 AM each day. Concessions will be available throughout the weekend, with proceeds benefiting the BATL scholarship fund.

Admission is free for all spectators. We encourage families to bring lawn chairs and blankets as bleacher seating is limited. Full bracket and schedule information is available on the Tournaments page.
